Fresh Tomato Sauce

This fresh tomato sauce is a staple in our home. We make it ahead as it is great for freezing and can pull it out to thaw in a pinch for dinner. It pairs nice with a glass (or two) of Chianti, and some shredded parmesan cheese. It will be sure to have you feeling “abbiocco”

Caramelized Pear and Goat Cheese Flatbread

I created this recipe after going out to a chain restaurant that offered minimal vegetarian food options. When I was there, I asked them to hold the meat, which ended up with a barren and less than appetizing flatbread. 

This is now a favourite in our home! Can be used as an appetizer, or as a great hot lunch! Enjoy!
